resistor colour coding and how to
calculate the resistance of a resistor.
The value of most resistors is shown by
a pattern of coloured bands. Each ring
has a value. The colours are
internationally defined as listed on the
following pages.
Objective
On completion of this module you will understand resistor
colour coding, be able to calculate a resistors value and
select a resistor of a specified resistance.
